To the Future

I’ve wanted to start a blog for YEARS.
There are probably hundreds of recipes floating around in my notebooks, notes app, random emails to myself… and I’ve been too intimidated to begin.
So, why now? why not?!
I’m 30, getting married in a few months, feel fairly stable and comfortable in my job, and I want to start spending more time actually cooking at home again.
Honestly, I have no idea what to expect.
My favorite things to cook include soups, nourish bowls, meals packed with flavors from around the world, and the things I consider comfort food.
I love baking and tend to go down rabbit holes of making versions of the same thing over and over until I can’t fathom eating it one more time.
The wedding? It’s coming up in May ’23. There will be lots of DIY, lots of cocktails and party hosting while I trick my friends into helping with all the tedious tasks I want to accomplish.
I’m studying to be a yoga teacher and I am actively trying to incorporate movement, stress relief, and more time outside.

So, HERE is to the future.
